Description
For fast and effective relief of heartburn associated with excess stomach acid. Rolaids starts to neutralize stomach acid in less than 10 seconds. Rolaids is an excellent source of calcium and magnesium. Calcium intake, when combined with sufficient vitamin D, a healthy diet, and regular exercise, may reduce the risk of developing osteoporosis. Low sodium antacid.
Directions:
Antacids: Adults: Chew 2-3 tablets as symptoms occur or as directed by a doctor. Maximum: 11 tablets/day. Pregnant women: Chew 1-2 tablets as symptoms occur or as directed by a doctor. Maximum: 6 tablets/day.
Calcium & Magnesium Supplement: Adults and pregnant women: chew 1-2 tablets after meal or as directed by a doctor. Maximum:Â 5 tablets/day.
Medicinal Ingredients (in each chewable tablet): Calcium carbonate USP 675mg (equivalent to 270mg of calcium), Magnesium hydroxide USP 135mg (equivalent to 57mg of magnesium).
Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Sucrose, dextrose, stearic acid, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide, flavor, sucralose (309-059).
Warning: Do not take within 2 hours of another medicine as the effectiveness of the other medicine may be altered. Do not use for more than two weeks or if symptoms reoccur, unless directed by a doctor. Individuals with kidney disease should not take this product except on the advice of a doctor. Ask your doctor before use. Keep out of reach of children. Store below 25°C.
Known adverse reaction: Some people may experience diarrhea.
