Description
Indications: Helps increase total sleep time (aspect of sleep quality) in people suffering from sleep restriction or altered sleep schedule (e.g. shift work and jet lag). Helps reduce the time it takes to fall asleep in people with delayed sleep phase disorder and reset the body’s sleep-wake cycle.
Dosage: Adults: All uses except jet lag: At or before bedtime, 1 caplet daily or as recommended by a physician. Jet lag: Take 1Â caplet once daily at bedtime, while traveling and at destination, until adapted to the new daily pattern. All uses: Consult a physician for use beyond 4 weeks.
Medicinal Ingredient: Each tablet contains: Melatonin 10mg
Non-Medicinal Ingredients (in descending order):Â Microcrystalline cellulose, dibasic calcium phosphate dihydrate, carbohydrate gum, copper sodium chlorophyllin, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate.
Caution: Keep out of the reach of children. All uses except jet lag: Consult a physician if sleeplessness persists for more than 4 weeks (chronic insomnia). All uses:Â Avoid taking with alcohol or products that cause drowsiness. Consult a physician prior to use if you have cardiovascular, immune, liver or chronic kidney disease, hormonal or seizure disorders, asthma, depression, diabetes, low blood sugar, or migraine. Consult a physician prior to use if you are taking steroids or blood thinners, medications for seizure or blood pressure, or medications to suppress the immune system (immunosuppressive medications), to affect mental state, or to increase sedation. Do not use this product if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not drive or use machinery for 5 hours after taking melatonin. Stop use if allergy occurs or if you experience headache, confusion or nausea.
