What are NovoFine Pen Needles?
NovoFine Pen Needles are thin needles designed for less pain and to fit most pen injector devices. These needles are 8mm in length and, with SuperFlow™ technology, are designed to enhance flow rates and reduce dosage force.
How to use these needles
Start by thoroughly washing and drying your hands. Take a new needle and tear off the paper tab. Push the needle straight onto the pen and turn until it is on tight. Pull off the outer needle cap and keep it for later – you will need it after the injection to safely remove the needle from the pen. Pull off the inner needle cap and throw it away. If you try to put it back on, you may accidentally stick yourself with the needle. A drop of the medicine may appear at the needle tip – this is normal, but you must still check the flow.

Using an injector pen regularly can seem like an unpleasant task, especially if you’re not a fan of needles in general. Luckily, NovoFine Pen Needles are very fine, specifically designed to cause less pain.
Can you reuse NovoFine Pen Needles?
No, pen needles are sterile products designed for single use only. Reusing a needle could damage the needle tip and protective coating, making injections more painful and more likely to cause bleeding or bruising. Reusing needles can also result in blockages, making it more difficult to deliver your medicine during the next injection. Not only that, but it can also increase the risk of breakage and damage your skin.
Storage information
Store NovoFine Pen Needles out of sight and reach of children. When disposing of used needles, make sure to use a sharps bin. Used needles must never be broken or bent before disposal and you must never try to recap a needle.
