Devil’s claw has been used in Africa and Germany for ailments relating to the liver and kidneys as well as to the nervous, respiratory, and lymphatic systems. The most popular application of this plant is for the treatment of the swelling and inflammation of the joints that are common symptoms of arthritis, gout, and rheumatism.
Studies conducted in Germany have shown the active ingredient in Devil’s claw, harpagosides, to be effective in pain relief of the back, neck, and shoulders, as well as some commercial anti-inflammatories, without any side effects, with use over four years.
Each capsule of New Roots Herbal’s Devil’s Claw contains 525 mg of Devil’s claw extracted from the secondary tubules for their highest concentration of harpagosides.
DIRECTIONS OF USE
Adults: Take 1–2 capsules twice daily or as directed by your health-care practitioner.
Duration of use: Use for a minimum of 2–3 months to see beneficial effects.

Other ingredients: Vegetable magnesium stearate in a non-GMO vegetable capsule composed of vegetable carbohydrate gum and purified water.
