Metatone Tonic is a liquid food supplement designed to support you and your body when recovering from an illness or feeling run down.
It’s ideal for when you’ve had a cold or the flu and are getting back on your feet or feeling exhausted after a particularly busy or stressful time.
Metatone Tonic is perfect for the family during cold and flu season.

Directions
Take this product 2-3 times a day before meals. The amount you need to take will depend on your age.
Children between 6-12 years old: Take 5ml of this product. Do not take more than 15ml a day.
Children over 12 years old and adults: Take 5-10ml of this product. Do not take more than 30ml a day.

Side effects
Metatone Tonic may cause side effects in some people, but these won’t affect everybody. Common side effects of this product may include:

Stomach discomfort
Nausea
Vomiting
Constipation
Diarrhoea

If you experience any side effects, including any not included in the patient information leaflet, you can report them using the MHRA Yellow Card Scheme.

Vitamins and minerals
Vitamin B1
Vitamin B1 helps release energy from food while supporting the nervous system.
Manganese
Manganese supports the enzymes in the body, helping them carry out the essential chemical reactions that keep you at your best.
Potassium
Potassium helps to balance the levels of fluids in your body while supporting healthy heart function.
This product is not a substitute for a varied, balanced diet and healthy lifestyle.

Warnings
If you experience an allergic reaction after taking this product, discontinue use and speak to your GP or Chemist4U pharmacist for advice.
Do not take this product if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Metatone Tonic if you:
Have an intolerance to some sugars, as this product contains glucose and sucrose
Are suffering from alcoholism or are in a high-risk group of patients (for example, those with liver disease or epilepsy), as this product contains 11% ethanol (alcohol)
Are on a sodium (salt) controlled diet, as this product contains 16.4mg of sodium in each 5ml dose
Age restrictions
This product is unsuitable for children under 6 years old.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, you must ask your doctor or Chemist4U pharmacist for advice before taking any new product.

Storage information
Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date, referring to the last day of the month stated on the packaging.
