What is Elastoplast Antiseptic Wound Spray?
Cleansing a wound is essential to flush away harmful bacteria and dirt which could cause an infection. Elastoplast Antiseptic Wound Spray is an easy-to-use antiseptic to clean minor wounds such as cuts, abrasions, first and minor-degree burns and open blisters. This alcohol-free and non-sting formula is gentle yet effective, so it’s suitable for childrens’ delicate skin. Contained in a handy spray bottle, it’s ideal for at home and on-the-go, a staple in any medicine cupboard.
How to use this product
To prevent an infection, spray the Elastoplast Antiseptic Wound Spray from a distance of approximately 10cm onto the entire wound area. Repeat if necessary, then gently pat dry the area around the wound. To protect the wound from dirt and bacteria, cover the wound with a sterile dressing or plaster. Pay close attention to your wound and change the dressing daily unless you’ve been advised otherwise by a medical professional.
What’s the difference between antiseptic and antibacterial?
The two sound similar, but they’re quite different. Antibacterial products can effectively kill or slow down the growth of bacteria, but not viruses. Whereas antiseptics can prevent viruses, bacteria and fungi from growing.

Storage information
Store in a cool, dry place out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date, referring to the last day of the month stated on the packaging.
