Bisodol is a peppermint-flavoured chewable tablet containing three active ingredients that work together to treat heartburn, trapped wind and indigestion. It’s great for on the go as it can easily be placed in your bag or pocket, so you never have to let indigestion slow you down!
How does Bisodol work?
Bisodol is an antacid and contains the active ingredients:
Calcium carbonate
Light magnesium carbonate
Sodium carbonate
Calcium carbonate acts as the primary acid neutraliser, quickly reducing stomach acid levels to ease burning sensations. Magnesium carbonate provides additional acid-neutralising power whilst releasing carbon dioxide that helps relieve trapped wind.
Finally, sodium bicarbonate (commonly known as baking soda) is an alkaline ingredient that helps restore balance to an overly acidic stomach.
Directions
This product is suitable for adults and children over the age of 12 years. Chew one or two tablets as required. If symptoms persist, seek advice from your doctor.
Warnings
Do not take these tablets if you are allergic to calcium carbonate, light magnesium carbonate, sodium carbonate or any of the other listed ingredients. Do not take if you have heart or kidney problems, or if you have been told that the level of phosphate in your blood is low.
