Description
Fast relief of dry hacking cough, cough from irritated throat, plus soothes throat.
Dosage: Adults (12 years and over): 2tsp. (10mL) every 6-8 hours. Maximum 8tsp. (40mL)/day. Shake well before using. Not recommended for children under 12 years.
Caution: Do not take more than the recommended dose. Do not use with a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) or for two weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. Ask a doctor before use if you are on other medications including natural health products, prescription drugs, or non-prescription drugs or if you are: pregnant or breastfeeding; have a persistent cough such as occurs with smoking, asthma, or emphysema; have a cough with excessive phlegm (mucus); or have difficulty breathing or other chronic lung conditions, as these may be signs of serious condition. Stop use and talk to a doctor if new symptoms occurs or symptoms worsen or last for more than 7 days, or are accompanied by a high fever, persistent headache or you develop wheezing, rash or itching, or the product of thick yellow/green phlegm.
Keep out of reach of children.
Store between 15°C and 30°C.
Active Ingredients: Each 15mL or 1 tablespoonful contains:
Cough Suppressant: Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride 15mg (Controls dry hacking cough).
Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Carboxymethylcellulose sodium, citric acid, D&C red no. 33, FD&C red no. 40, flavours, glycerin, menthol, polyethylene glycol, propylene glycol, sodium benzoate, sodium citrate, sodium cyclamate, sorbitol, water.
