What is the immune system?
The immune system is incredibly important, as it is our defence against harmful substances like germs. It is made up of various organs, cells and proteins which prevent us from becoming ill. If it doesn’t work properly or has become weakened you can become ill. The main duties of the immune system are:
To fight germs, such as bacteria, viruses, parasites or fungi and to remove them from the body
To neutralise harmful substances from the environment
To fight disease-causing changes in the body, such as cancer cells

The immune system works by recognising substances that do not normally belong in the body, called antigens. It fights the foreign substance and stores information about it so the immune system knows how to fight the substance if it comes into contact with the body again. It is so important to support our immune system and keep it healthy in order to help it work to the best of its ability and fight off germs.Â

How can Abidec drops help to support your baby’s immune system?
Just 5 drops of Abidec for babies per day can help to support your child’s immune system. The drops contain vitamin D3 to help absorb calcium which promotes the development of healthy bones and teeth, as well as promoting the healthy function of the immune system. It also contains 200 million friendly bacteria. The formula does not contain any sugar, preservatives, colourants or any unnecessary ingredients and is free from lactose, allergen and gluten. Abidec is suitable from birth until 3 years of age.

How to use Abidec Drops
The recommended dose is 5 drops per day. Shake the bottle well before use to disperse the powder. This will cause the solution to become cloudy. Before first use, open the bottle and replace the cap with the pipette. You can either administer the drops directly into the baby’s mouth or add them to breast milk, cold liquids or lukewarm infant formula. Replace the pipette back in the bottle after use. Do NOT exceed the recommended dose and ensure the contents of the bottle is used within 60 days after opening.Â

When NOT to use this product
This product is a supplement and should not be used as a replacement for healthy diet and lifestyle. Do NOT use this product if your child is allergic to any of the ingredients (see ingredients tab for full list).Â
