Description
- WATER-BASED & HYPOALLERGENIC: Formulated to emulate your body’s natural lubrication, BioNude used plant cellulose as a thickening agent. BioNude was created for people who told us they want a body-friendly lube for skin that is sensitive to certain organic and natural ingredients like aloe vera. So, we mixed water and a different science-lab sounding ingredient called hydroxyethylcellulose. It’s natural, effective, plant-based, and hypoallergenic. No added fragrance.
- HELPS AVOID IRRITATION: Some bodies are naturally more sensitive than others, which is why we offer BioNude Ultra Sensitive Personal Lubricant. BioNude is a slippery, effective, water-based lubricant specifically formulated to help avoid irritation or adverse allergic reactions. Made with plant-based and hypoallergenic material formulated for people sensitive to aloe-based lubricants, BioNude can be used by even the most sensitive women, men, and couples. 100% paraben-free & glycerin-free.
- pH BALANCED: While every body is a little different, a naturally healthy vaginal biome has a low pH and a proper balance of moisture, salt, and lactic acid. Choose a premium pH-balanced personal lubricant that is all-body safe and long-lasting with a cushioned, silky feel.
- GYNECOLOGIST RECOMMENDED: Formulated with our patented Bio-Match technology, our products are designed to closely resemble with your body’s natural system. Whether a lubricant, a wash, a moisturizer or probiotic suppository, each product Works The Way You Do so that you can live, feel, and love your very best. 100% paraben-free, and free of artificial fragrances.

Gentle, great texture, bad taste.

This is exactly what I need. I have very sensitive skin, and this doesn’t irritate my skin. Water-based lubes are the WORST for including ingredients you should never be putting inside your body (even the aloe lube this company creates – aloe is never to be used internally). Bio Nude doesn’t contain any glycerin, citric acid, flavors, scents, aloe, dyes, and other garbage that can all cause stinging, burning, inflammation, allergic reactions, and aloe in particular may also cause uterine contractions when you’re pregnant. Bio Nude just does it’s job and leaves your delicate pH unscathed. Silicone lube cannot be used under all circumstances (such as with many toys and condoms), so I’m glad to have this to use (which honestly gets used more often for me). It does get flaky and thus messy when it dries, so just be aware of needing to wipe down with a moist cloth or hygienic wet wipe to clear excess product when you’re done.

I purchased the product, because it is the “sensitive” version. It led to itchiness and rash.
Not able to use it. You may try an alternate version for a lower price.

I love this lube just knowing the ingredients are amazing! I haven’t found anything better out there. I noticed some people said that it causes burning. They didn’t like there is lactic acid in it.
The lactic acid keeps the lube in an acidic pH range (closer to vaginal pH). Their BioNude product page lists a pH ~4.0–4.4, and they describe this as part of their “pH-balancing” approach. This supports the vaginal microbiome (their claim). They explicitly say their proprietary lactic acid blend “nourishes” healthy lactobacilli / supports microbiome balance. pH isn’t the only thing that matters—osmolality and buffering capacity also affect irritation risk, and global procurement guidance has focused on these properties for “safer” lubes. Good Clean Love markets BioNude as iso-osmotic (251–400 mOsm/kg), which is in the “closer to body fluids” direction compared with many mainstream lubes.
Even though it’s meant to match vaginal acidity, anything acidic can sting if the tissue is already irritated (microtears, yeast/BV symptoms, postpartum/low estrogen dryness, allergy/irritation from friction, etc.).
• Patch test: put a tiny amount on the inner forearm first—if it stings there, your tissue may just not like the formula.
• Use less + add moisture: apply a smaller amount, and if needed add a little water (since it’s water-based) to dilute the initial acidity.
• Apply after arousal: more natural lubrication = less friction + fewer microtears = less sting.
• Avoid right after shaving/sex (when skin is more irritated).

Good, Clean Love is a brand that’s recommended for a reason—it’s exactly what it says on the tin! This lubricant lives up to its hypoallergenic claims and makes pleasure experiences much better. I’d advise that, when using, you warm it with your hands prior to applying it to your toys or genitals.

I have been struggling to find a good water based lubricant that doesn’t burn my bits when I use it. A lot of folks recommended me this product, claiming that it would be more gentle than the usual lube you can buy. At first it was fine, but after using it for an extended time the burning would start up, and only got worse with each usage. To my horror I checked the ingredients and saw acid, among some other questionable chemicals in the ingredients list. I’m very disappointed. The lube was otherwise fine with thickness and slipperiness, but it’s completely unusable for me because of the burning.

Amazing and is the only lubricant that won’t give me any irritation afterwards. Highly recommend

I have mainly used coconut oil, and occasionally one KY lube. This lasts WAY longer than coconut oil! I was so impressed!

I have IBS and so I’ve been looking for a lube that doesn’t make my anal tissues feel uncomfortable/burn. I found an article saying this stuff is isotonic, hypoallergenic, etc. This is the first lube I have ever used that didn’t make me uncomfortable in the slightest. No tingling, no burning, no weird friction, nothing.
Most of the products made by this company don’t last that long because they are water based and the longetivity is comparable to other water based lubes. I like that it doesn’t as slimy or sticky as other lubes though and there is no flavor other than the taste of a water based lube. It is unscented but there’s still gonna be a lube smell if you have a sensitive nose. But it’s very neutral and not bad.
