Sleep Aid Plus 12 Hour Pain Relieving Strength of Aleve
Aleve Nighttime helps you fall asleep and stay asleep. Trust Aleve Nighttime for providing fast and effective relief of occasional sleeplessness when associated with aches and arthritis pain, pain of inflammation, arthritic conditions such as stiffness, joint and body pain, muscular ache, muscle sprains and strains, backache, aches, headaches, migraine pain, menstrual cramps, pain of minor surgery, toothaches, pain of dental extractions, pain associated with the common cold. Clinical studies show long lasting pain relief for up to 12 hours with Aleve, which is combined with a sleep-aid. For use only if you have short-term sleeplessness caused by pain. If this is not the case, do not use.
Directions: Adults and children over 12 years: Take 2 caplets at bedtime. Do not take more than 2 caplets in a 24 hour period. Drink a full glass of water with each dose. Do not use in children under 12 years. Consult doctor if pain and sleeplessness lasts longer than 5 days or if your symptoms change. The risk of heart attack or stroke may increase if you use more than directed or for longer than directed. Store at 15-30°C.
Warnings: Do not take Aleve if you suffer from sleeplessness without pain, have pain that does not cause sleeplessness; are taking any other pain reliever, sleep-aid, anti-nausea, or allergy medicine with anti-histamines/pain relievers; are allergic to naproxen, naproxen sodium, acetylsalicylic acid (ASA), other salicylates, other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), any of the non-medicinal ingredients in Aleve, or if you have an active peptic ulcer, a history of recurrent ulceration, active gastrointestinal bleeding, inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease (active or severe), kidney disease (severe or worsening), do not have time for a full night’s sleep; are using alcohol; right before or after heart surgery, or if you are in your third trimester of pregnancy. Drowsiness will occur, avoid alcohol and do not drive or operate machinery.
Ask a doctor before use if you have or have had asthma, high blood pressure, glaucoma, difficulty urinating due to enlarged prostate gland, heart disease/failure or any other serious disease, or if you are pregnant, nursing, or older than age 65.
Caution: This package contains enough drug to seriously harm a child. Keep out of children’s reach.
Each caplet contains 220mg Naproxen Sodium (pain reliever) and 25mg Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride (sleep aid).
Non-Medicinal Ingredients: carnauba wax, FD&C Blue No. 2 Aluminum Lake, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, povidone, purified water, titanium dioxide and talc.
